n Self-tests run on every reboot

n Output is sent over serial port as it runs

n On failing,

l The test will halt

l The Status LEDs will flash to signify an error

l The failing test message will be re-sent to the serial port

every 15 seconds

l A terminal can then be connected to see the error

n Output can be provided to Madge Support for

problem diagnosis

n Allows simple and quick diagnosis of problems
